It's about time that someone thought about our students education and the time that they spent on the bus. Frankly, we have put up with the attitude of Keene that our students just don't make the grade. I find that offensive. Yes, if we send them to Pioneer they will have to take the Mcass tests. They will PASS. Our elementary teachers will have prepared them well. Perhaps the kids will have fun and just be accepted. That is not happening in Keene.

A lot of us think about the students, but most of all we think about our wallets first. If we could get a citizen's group together to stop people like the fire chief Barry Kellom who does even pay taxes in town from spending $450,000 for a fire truck we do not need, (because he wants to be made full time fire chief someday) or the town employees making the tax payers buy them the newest, biggest and the best-est equipment to set around in, them maybe we could afford our schools.

I completely agree with you. Let's make sure enough of is who feel like this show up to tell the school board that. I do know this has been in the works for years but our contract with Keene prevents things from moving quicker.

I really hope people come out for this because it is important on so many levels. It's hard to get people involved in school board related issues. I for one would love to see a full house.
