Executive Secretary Resigns

There has been a change up at Town Hall. For those of you that aren't up on current events - Ellen Cole resigned her post as secretary to the Executive Assistant, Robert Gray. She was no longer happy dealing with local politics and ready to go back to the legal field. In the mean time, our illustrious Selectman Roberta Fraser has been hired to fill in until a replacement can be hired. We would like to hear back from you, what you think of this change....

I'll bet she's real happy about this. Now she'll have some money to use on her vacations this year. I guess we'll have to wait for the pictures on facebook to know where she spent the money cause it sure hasn't been on her property taxes like the rest of us.

She does note on her facebook she likes blogs, perhaps she will come visit us here and let us know how she feels about her new conflict of interest, I mean job.

Roberta is what? said...

Can you say CONFLICT? Isn't it illegal to be an elected official and work for the town? Hopefully her checks are being retained for payment towards her property taxes.

From what i understand Ellen did an excellent job. I hope she gets good money where she is going, she will have to commute, be on time, and all the other things that you don't have to adhere to when you work for the town. Would have been a good time to hire a Secretary, why do we need the Executive part for more money?

SERVICE? said...

No BOS minutes posted on the town site this week. Like Roberta said about the town beach, if you don't want to spend the money then we cut back on services. I bet that you could hit that button while you are chit chatting, or maybe it was overlooked because of the stress.

Talk about cutting back on service and wasting money. Check out this link for what members of the police dept are doing to waste our taxpayer money.Facebook?

I was told today that it wasn't the general public that made Ellen decide to leave the town hall, it was the people in the town hall. I could believe that.

I heard she said it was because of the dirty politics in the town that made her want to get out. Whatever the reason, something isn't kosher for her to give up such a cushy job with great pay, very good benefits and a four day work week.

Not to worry folks. The taser probe was successfully removed from the victim's chest. The probe removal procedure was recorded for evidentiary and litigation purposes. Stay tuned for further information.

Now let’s all play a guessing game. Who do you think the officer was who forgot to remove the taser probe?

Bet Ellen is going to miss these 3 day work weeks. TD bank is open today, not saying they should be, but it just goes to show you the difference between service and non service. I don't blame her for leaving, being around our town hall every day can drag you down and make you lose track of reality.
