Ruth is such a liar how does he live with himself? The person who came to the BOS meeting was asking if the rumor she heard about the transfer station closing was true. She was not irate as Ruth says, she was concerned. And of course he never said it was he who started that rumor, Roberta covered his ass for him. He's one of the reasons this board is such a joke and so dysfunctional. he needs to follow Irene's advice and step down and get out of town politics altogether. We have no need of a self serving liar on the board of selectmen.

More damn spending warrants, what's wrong with these idiots don't they know they are killing us with all this crap! They are as bad as the damn school board wanting everything under the sun. Where's the cuts in spending? Where's the cuts in personnel like other towns? Where's the cuts in hours and benefits like at my place of work? These people need to get with the times and stop this spending every year, this town can not afford all of this stuff.

Very misleading Mr. Phillips and those who wrote the Prosecutors office had to spend the entire day with Winchester having to deal with 2 felony convictions. They would have to do that if we were in the program or not. Police departments aren’t allowed to handle felony’s. That’s against state law. It’s part of the cost we pay the County for the use of the County Attorney’s office which operates for the benefit of Cheshire County. This service is paid for under our county taxes. Not by our Town taxes. By state law, the County Attorney's offices throughout the state have always handled felony’s. Isn’t that right Sherm? The only thing the police departments are allowed to handle are tickets and misdemeanors. Isn’t that right Sherm? Let’s compare apples to apples for a change.

Think about it, We want to see things as a warrant article instead of being a line item in the town budget that we have little control over. At least Warrant articles are on the ballot and can be voted on. If voters feel we need these and thewy can afford the taxes they will vote yes if people feel that we dont need them and they cannot afford their taxes they will vote no. If these pass either evryone feels our taxes are fine or the ones who cant afford it dont come out and vote, So where do you think the problem is?
