What is the law in a red alert about camp fires or burning in patio stoves for example???? I saw a neighbor having a fire in one yesterday that was really burning ( about three feet tall of flame) next to the woods by their house. Wouldn't think anyone would be that stupid when everything is so tinder dry but is there a law that prevents ANY open burning?

In order to burn, you must have a permit. Under a red flag warning, which was in effect yesterday, it is illegal to burn.. period. Next time you observe someone breaking the law and putting themselves and their neighbors in danger give Mutual Aid a call .. 352-1291 and report them. Think what could have happened if hot ashes ignited the woods.
