So the state did not fall for the crap these bozos were slinging and held their ground, good. Now let's see them scramble to find the money to blow on their outrageous projects.

And to Joan Morell in regards to giving the hwy guys an extra day off with pay for doing what they get paid to do; what are you an idiot?

Not legal to go into nonpublic session to discuss their own screwups. Doubt the Sentinel will chase that one.

Instead of BOS, they should be called the FOS! Liar, lair, pants-on-fire!

If you read the minutes from the week before they are saying it's the Budget Committee zeroing out the Water Department & the Sewer Department. That is the biggest line of BS!

And there is an entire town hall full of witnesses that heard the BOS's explanation about why the BOS put it on the ballot separate from the town budget. Ken Gardner had the audacity when asked, "What if the town doesn't vote to approve this? What happens to that budget?" He said, "…I don't think the people are that stupid!…" But Ken Gardner was stupid enough to pull this moronic move in the first place and put the onus on the town’s people.

A vote-of-no-confidence in our Board of Selectman petition should be started. Read the minutes from the week before and tell me that aren’t a bunch of liars.

Glad I don't have legal counsel like our town, he's got some explaining to do. I know he is on the town hall speed dial and I'm betting the select board is not even embarrassed by this mess. Not to mention, they owe Brian Moser and the budget committee an apology. Well the new chairman of the budget committee will do her best to bail these people out this year. As far as Joan being out of touch will reality, maybe she just wants to cut the hwy coffee bill.

Hmm, I wonder if the BOS can charge Maggie for some proceeds from her bi-weekly tag sales at 71 Main? They might get back enough to pay her portion of the attorney bill for 71 Main. Food for thought.

It is my understanding the selectmen have changed Maggie Sharra’ job title description to department head, now becoming Leroy’s boss. When Ted Ryll and Bob Davis convinced the budget committee to zero out Sharra’s pay line in the land use budget the selectmen are trying to do what ever they can to keep her on the town payroll. With the short falls in the town budget it will be hard for the selectmen to come up with the extra money to stay within the 10% and keep her employed. I know I will be keeping score with what they do. Gomarlo and Sharra were cut from the budget to save money and now the selectmen are playing a shell game to keep them employed.

With the selectmen’s last minute pit maneuver that defies logic to take the water and sewage dept budget out of the hands of the budget committee, which put themselves in a real dilemma, a situation with undesirable alternatives, cut waste or risk going over budget. With all the other crap these clown in the town hall have been getting away with, going over budget after being told by the state not to has sever consequences and prison time. Is it no wonder why the selectmen wants to get rid of the budget committee?

While you fools who didn’t bother to vote or had no clue in what was going on by voting for Beaman, Cole, Lapoint played right into the selectmen hands….next year!

I say thanks a lot, this is the last year of budget cuts………….

has anyone heard that the BOS is going to sue the Budget Committee?

The word is sue the Budget committee and make Margaret full time. The selectmen are not going to let how the taxpayers feel bother them. Now they are looking into raising the Water rates.
