Gratitude for your vote

Thank you, Winchester! Tuesday, March 8, the townspeople of Winchester voted me in as selectman. I look forward to serving you all to my best ability for the next three years. I will not go into a long speech about what I want to do; I will, however, say a big thank you to you all.

We expect you to be a leader and not a follower. We have too many sheep in this town. Your task is to make certain that you look out for all of the citizens not just a select few! Enough said; now do what we elected you to do.

Whoever you are above this post, I think you will find that Ben is above becoming one of the good old boys circle and isn't looking for perks............ he is his own person and earned the votes.

I'm sure Mr. Kilanski will do a good job once he has familiarized himself with everything he needs to do and that he will vote in a fair manner and provide the citizens of Winchester with good leadership. Let's give him a chance folks and remember he is one of five. Ooops, four at the moment, seems there is some confusion on the board on how they are suppose to choose someone to fill Ken's spot. Maybe, if they stopped listening to a certain someone more interested in keeping her hubby's position and acted as they are supposed to, by doing things the right way, several more calls to the town's attorney won't be necessary to clear that sticking point up and they'll get on with the town's business. I wouldn't bet on it though as we all know that certain person will bully and cajole the board until she gets what she wants, past conduct proves that.
